Jorja Dimopoulos - Registered Music Therapist

Jorja is a passionate and versatile Registered Music Therapist at Tweedle, bringing a rich blend of clinical experience, creativity, and compassion to her work. Jorja works across the lifespan – from babies in our early childhood music groups, to infants and children with disabilities, adolescents and adults with complex needs, and older adults living with dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions.

Jorja holds a Master of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Music Technology from the Queensland Conservatorium. Her diverse academic background informs her dynamic, person-centred approach to therapy, underpinned by a belief in music’s capacity to foster connection, expression, and wellbeing.

At Tweedle, Jorja has developed a broad clinical profile, working with participants with disability, mental health challenges, and neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions. She is particularly skilled in adapting sessions to suit a wide range of communication, sensory, and emotional needs, and thrives in both individual and group settings.

Before becoming a Registered Music Therapist, Jorja gained valuable experience as a Music Therapy Assistant at Tweedle and as a support worker in the community. Her previous role as a Teacher Aide in a Special Education setting also deepened her understanding of inclusive practice and the unique strengths and needs of neurodivergent learners.

Jorja is known for her warmth, creativity, and commitment to making music therapy accessible and meaningful for every person she supports. She continues to be a valued and vibrant member of the Tweedle team.
